What’s in your Direct Mail Toolkit?
Non-profit organizations rely on various direct mail premiums to bring in new donors, engage with existing donors, and spread their message. Marketing managers are constantly looking for new ways to stand out. Let’s examine how labels can expand how to reach your audience and hit your campaign goals.
Direct Mail Forms
Everyone loves a sticker and direct mail forms are a cost-effective solution to deliver personalized stickers. These pin-fed forms are printed at a label converter and can include gold or silver cold foil that adds shimmer to the final package. Direct mail forms are typically return address labels, but could also be To/From holiday stickers, related to your mission, or celebrations of milestones. Whatever your layout for your direct mail form, don’t be afraid to think outside the box and include more than one of these elements into your layout.
Piggyback Labels
Piggyback labels are a fun way to get your donor to engage with your mailing. A piggyback label is two labels, one on top of the other. The top label uses a removable adhesive that allows for it to be peeled and applied to a different surface. The bottom label can be adhered on any surface. There are several types of piggyback labels. Nested piggyback labels have a smaller top label than the bottom label, making it easy for the donor to peel. A flush cut labels have a top and bottom label that are the same size and offer more room on the top layer to spread your message. You can include a tab to make them easier to peel.
Bumper Stickers
The much beloved bumper sticker continues to be a great way to promote your nonprofit and spread your message to new donors. Bumper stickers can be made from paper, BOPP, or vinyl. Each will have a different life expectancy. While paper bumper stickers will not withstand long periods outdoors, vinyl is the best choice to withstand rain and UV rays. We also offer protective laminations to prolong the usefulness of a bumper sticker.
Sticker Sheets
Sticker sheets can be fun and customized to any cause. They can also be powerful tools that remind your donors of your mission. Turn anything into a sticker – From monthly reminders and calendars, to event promotions, say it with sticker.
Post-It Stickers
Just as the name suggests, using post-it stickers in a mailing gives it a touch of personalization that produces results. People may not read a long letter included in your mailing, but a yellow post-it sticker is sure to be read and gives you an opportunity to instantly connect and boost your response rate.
Lite Tac/Static Clings and Decals
Static clings and decals can be placed on any clean, flat surface. We love to promote our lite tac clings and decals because they offer a more sustainable solution to the traditional materials used for static cling labels.
